After a fortunate transfer, Ted finds himself in the sumptuous surroundings of another parish. However, his escape from the tedium of Craggy Island is short-lived and on returning to the Parochial House, he finds that things have changed in his absence.

The Annual Sheep Competition is soon to be held on Craggy Island and Ted’s confidence in the performance of Chris the Sheep is such that he bets the annual heating allowance on Chris to win. Chris’s form, however, suffers terribly with the emergence of a fearsome beast on the Island.

Mrs Doyle is transformed into a giggling girl whenever the new milkman, Pat Mustard, pays a visit to the Parochial House. The transformation does not go undetected by Ted who decides to ensure that Pat’s job is no more. Who is to replace the errant milkman? Step in Father McGuire to save the day but untold danger lies ahead.

A trip to the mainland always leads to trouble and Ted is deeply nervous at the prospect. What can possibly go wrong? Well, quite a lot. Ted’s misgivings are justified as he has to bail Mrs Doyle, Mrs Dineen and Father Jack out of prison and Dougal and Ted go on a tour of ‘The Very Dark Caves’.

It’s the annual All-Priests Over 75’s Five-A-Side Football Challenge Match Against Rugged Island and Ted suspects that Father Dick Byrne will stop at nothing to win. With Craggy Island’s ace centre-forward Father Jack sound asleep after drinking an entire bottle of "Dreamy Sleepy Nighty Snooze Snooze", Ted is in deep trouble.

Ted, having lost a bet to Dick Byrne, has to kick Bishop Brennan up the arse. Coincidentally, Bishop Brennan and his side-kick, Father Jessup, arrive at the Craggy Island Parochial House to see the image of the Bishop which has miraculously appeared in the skirting board of Ted’s spare room. Ted now has no excuse but to carry out the forfeit.

Singing sensation Eoin McLove, adored by menopausal women everywhere, secretly visits Mrs Doyle for tea after she wins a poetry competition on his television show. Unfortunately, the secret leaks out and the house is besieged by Eoin’s devoted elderly fans. Mrs Doyle, who has reached new heights of nervousness, then crowns Eoin’s visit by baking him a jumper in a cake.

An act of uncharacteristic heroism by Ted lends to a job offer in America – his very own parish in Beverley Hills! With his lifetime’s ambition about to be realised, Ted has only one problem – how to tell Father Jack, Father Dougal and Mrs Doyle that they’re not invited.

With the last ever episodes of Father Ted being released on video for the first time, ‘The Final Revelations’ really are the answer to every fan’s prayers.
